February 26, 2018 -- Monday evening, ReNEW Schools Board Chair Stephen Rosenthal announced Kevin Guitterrez has resigned from his position as the organization’s CEO, effective immediately.
Rosenthal said he will introduce a motion to appoint current Chief Operating Officer Tanya Bryant as the network’s new CEO at a board meeting Wednesday.
“Tanya has been with ReNEW since the beginning,“ Rosenthal said, also noting her strong experience in New Orleans public education. “Over the course of the past 15 years, Tanya has seen first-hand how the educational landscape in our city has evolved, and how ReNEW’s model has improved schools and prepared students for success in life.”
