We want to share an important update from NOLA Public Schools regarding the return of students to the ReNEW Schools buildings next week. Wednesday, NOLA Public Schools announced that Pre-K through 8th grade students can begin returning to school in-person on Monday, February 1, due to the decline in COVID cases in our community.

Please review the information regarding school-specific plans below carefully:

SciTech Academy: All students in PreK through 8th grade will return on Monday, February 1.
Schaumburg Elementary: All students in PreK through 8th grade will return on Monday, February 1.
Dolores T Aaron: All students in Pre-K - 4th grade and students in 5th and 7th grades will return on Monday, February 1. Students in grades 6th and 8th will return on Tuesday, February 2.
ReNEW Therapeutic Program: All students will return on Monday, February 1.

All students will receive an email on Friday with their bus route information because it may have changed for the second semester. We will also call you once the email has been sent to alert you of the message in your students’ email account.

We’re proud to say that our schools have continued to be sanitized daily. High-touch areas are disinfected hourly and numerous safety measures have been put in place. You can find all the information regarding our safety protocols on our website -- renewschools.org/.
