September 14, 2020 — ReNEW and NOLA Public Schools are continuing to monitor the progress of Hurricane Sally.

NOLA Public Schools has issued a systemwide closure for all public schools on Tuesday, September 15. Thus, ReNEW will be closed and there will be no distance learning Tuesday. Given this, all ReNEW buildings, including the Early Childhood Center will be closed.

We will provide an update regarding the status of school on Wednesday no later than 5 PM Tuesday afternoon.

Due to this schedule disruption, ReNEW is moving the in-person start date for students to the following:

Monday, September 21

3rd and 4th grade students

Wednesday, September 23

Pre-K, 1st and 2nd grade students
Students in self-contained special education classes

Meal delivery is also canceled on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. However, we hope to be able to provide grab-and-go service at your school on Thursday.
